As human beings, we lose our way a lot. When we are lost, we may feel hopeless, heartbroken, and confused. This is a natural, though painful, part of life. From the point of view of meditative traditions, we have to lose our way. We have to go completely blind, sometimes, to find our eyes again. When we are lost, we are weak. When we are weak, our hearts will be tender, and we will ask for help. This is being open, and openness is true strength.
This morning of meditation will illuminate how meditation gives us the strength to be weak, the courage to be lost, and the understanding to find joy and direction.
All are welcome to this guided meditation, talk, and dialogue.
$20 welcomed donation. All invited, regardless of funds
Participants are also invited to bring offerings for a small ceremony: colorful fruits and flowers, incense, candles, bunches of fragrant herbs, healthy, delicious snacks and drinks, and photographs or objects representing important concerns in their lives.
