Our hearts are like a beautiful house. This home of the heart has seen so much: our greatest joys, our worst heartbreaks, and all the experiences of our lives that make us who we are. Yet too often, the pace of life and the intensity of our emotions cause us to forget the beautiful home that is always with us. We forget to be there for ourselves and for the ones we love so much.
Meditation reminds us that, fundamentally, we are feeling beings. When we remember to live at home in our hearts, even if our lives are busy and our emotions are strong, we can care for what is most important to us.
